Default My 1993 Hatchback build..

I had a thread already but when I looked for it I couldn't find it anywhere so I figured I would post a new one..

This is my 1993 Honda Civic Hatchback Cx, It had a 1.5, 8 valve, 70 hp motor in it when I first got it lol.. had to yank that out.. I put the b16a in, wire tucked the engine bay, and sprayed the engine bay black to cover up all the scratches and such.. Then I just lowered everything and put some wheels on it last night.. let me know what you think so far.. I'm going to get some inside pics soon and post them, I have the front and back seats from a 94 Si and they don't have any rips or anything.. Gonna post more soon, should have it running in the next week or so..

When I first pulled the 1.5 out..

The Engine Bay before putting my motor in..

When I first got my motor in..

Got my valve cover on and the intake..

Another pic of it..

When I sprayed the engine bay..

Another pic of it sprayed..

Pic of the whole car with the motor..

Lowered the car last night and put my new wheels on it...
Wheels are from a 1993 Gsr..

Yeah, i'm going to keep my foot out of it this time.. that's only for the weekends when we organize it here.. Yeah we'll have that meet in a few weeks, gotta get mine running and your motor in yours.. I think the wheels would look good white, but if I was to do that i'll get them powder coated.. I have had too much trouble painting them lol.. chipping and such.. I lowered it I believe 2 and a half inches.. it isn't too bad.. still gonna ride smooth and it'll be low

Decent pics?? what do you mean by that.. I thought I could actually see what has been done.. most of what I was trying to show was the motor.. and the wheels I just snapped a pic of. Gonna get a better pic soon.

Well, I only got to bolt my starter up and plug some of the wires up and the wires for the starter... ... I'm going to finish it up as soon as I have my day off again.. The only thing i'm needing still is my dizzy cap and rotary button lol.. i'll get it soon though.. maybe i'll have it running by next weekend so I can take it out ...

Ok here's the pics of what i've done since the last time I posted lol.. I'm just trying to show where I put my hoses and starter on. And i'm just going to show a pic of my header.. I should have everything done in a couple days though ..

Here is a pic. of the side of the motor.. Please don't flame about the wiring.. I havn't finished unbunching my wires and hooking everything up... gonna do it on my next day off(hopefully Monday)..

Here is just a pic of the front of the engine bay showing off the motor again..

Here is my Tri Y header that I picked up for $50....

well, I got the car to crank and everything.. had to plug a place in the back of the motor where water was leaking after we got it to run... we got it to crank like 5 times and just finished plugging the hole tonight.. 2 days after we got it to run, and for some reason now the car is getting fire, the fuel pump is kicking on and everything, but it is just acting like it doesn't have any fuel pressure now.. I'm not getting what it could be because we had it running and everything but now it won't .. if you all know anything on it please help.. I need it to run and like I said it it was running, but now it won't crank.. it'll turn over and act like it's wanting to, but just won't do it lol..

well, I got the hatch running and it is running good.. I am hoping to finish all the little bugs in it and everything to get it running better.. I have to re time it and it'll run much better.. I had to switch my fuel injectors, put new plug wires, and plugs in it.. got my vtec wired in on the ecu.. had to do the oil pressures switch bypass trick since I didn't have a oil pressure switch in the motor and it runs good.. def. a good motor for the car, just to cruise with and everything... i'm hoping to have better pics soon to post and show it going down the road and such ..
