Looks good so far. In for more and I am soon deleting my rear wiper on 89 si hatchback. As far as ebrake cables check out fastbrakes.com I ordered some from them before.

Re: The Mutilation of my 89 CRX Si
I've got to spend some money on her. Got the LS. Hasport is spending some effort and time/money on the mounts right now. Send some swag! Its me Brad in CO. Just ordered some e-brake cables. Have those suspension parts shown in the picture going on along with a teg BB and MC. With a walbro pump, an oil sandwich feed, and some cutting/welding I'll be whislin something high pitched. I'm attracted to the hydrogen kits from my position behind this tunable ECU. If I could get into the parts for 840 or less, then if I'm only driving to/from work and its getting double avg mpg, then it would have paid itself off in one year. I'll do plenty more driving than that, but why the **** am I thinking double mpg anyway? Does anyone know anything about the hydrogen kits?

Re: The Mutilation of my 89 CRX Si
The tires are amazing! Car feels like its stuck to the road and gives me my edge back even on the snow and icy roads.
Look what I got in the mail:
These mounts I bought something like 8 years ago. I got them for my first engine swap project, the first b-series car I had ever ridden in. Now, they boast 14 different engines(not counting times I was taking the engine out for a trans or clutch swap), many a race victory, a mount bracket(passenger side) ripped out the welds when I had the 207whp engine in, there were years of hard driving, a wreck that the engine took the impact -broke or bent the metal around the mounts, and now look at them, they got spirit right here along with me! Too bad they didn't send me a Hasport sticker! Thanks Hasport for the quality in your product and standing behind it so long down the road!
Speaking of, anyone have a B18a rear L bracket? The one that bolts to the transmission and to the rear Hasport mount that sits on the sub-frame. I would hate to get to the point where I'm installing the engine to find out that my bracket is too far bent to work anymore. I was thinking that it was too bent when I was pulling it out of the wrecked car. I think it ripped out the bottom two bolts on the transmission. But now that I'm looking at it, I don't see what I did before. Can you guys help me distinguish? I'll even get out the measuring tape if someone would be so kind as to do the same. I'd like to get this project done this weekend if possible. And finding an L bracket isn't easy up here in the mountains.

This one comes out to be 7.5" center point to center point:
This one, dead on 8":
This one, 7.25":
Did anyone notice the rip?

Re: The Mutilation of my 89 CRX Si
Guys, I have to share this garage with roommates and they are getting pissy that I've already had it for a couple of days. So, its not going to be as crispy as we all want it to be. Not just yet.
Also, the ****ing t-bracket isn't fitting well. I may just need to get someone to feed the bolt while I twist the engine, though. I'll find out tomorrow.

Ended up moving the bolts all around to shift which one isn't lining up. Then, lowered the transmission side down a bit to thread them all at the same time... only slightly tweaked! Buttoning up a few things and will be taking her for a spin in a couple of hours.

Re: The Mutilation of my 89 CRX Si
Thann Ho out of Denver sold the long block to me. It has 3 broken cam cap bolts and a leaky main seal. So, I have to annoy my roommates some more and take the engine back out. At least now I don't have to deal with all that excessive factory fragile tedious bull dunk. Although, I do need to deal with that rear t-bracket again, this time with the intake on? Probably have to take it out. Good thing for my plastic gasket. Exhaust still needs some serious attention. But progress is being made!

I replaced the main seal, busted out the hondabond! Also, Chad came by and used some fancy tools to remove the broken cam cap bolts. Slipped the mount bolts in: with the engine in place, calling it a night. In the morning, no other engagements and need to straighten the header out. Then, some wires, hoses, cables, bolts, and fluids in theory, a good running car... We'll see!

Re: The Mutilation of my 89 CRX Si
I did all this extra work(broken cam cap bolts, main seal) and still have to deal with a stripped out timing belt tensioner bolt, still thanks to Thann Ho. I paid a premium price and didn't get warned about the leaky main seal, the broken cam cap bolts, stripped timing belt tensioner bolt, or the lacking bolts all over the place, or the timing cover that doesn't fit, or the b20 intake manifold, or the b18a1 valve cover.... next I'll find out that the cams are b18a1 or b20 or some crappy **** like that... And to think I spent 80 in gas just to get to denver on top of a premium price for the long block. Anyway, I'm beat, but here are a few shots for you guys!
What is that hiding behind the bumper?
