Milano Red Em1 slowly restoring/modding
I've lurked around this forum for years but never posted. Figured I'd share my slow build. 99 Em1 I bought from a buddy, has 82k in it. My goal for now is to restore it and lightly mod it but still keeping it close to an si as possible.

Seats sit around the same height, the bolsters are a lot better then the regular si seats though. Panels are ctr as well as the carpet, pedals, and folding mirrors.

Not sure what needs "restoring" lol. It looks very clean to begin with. The only thing i would do is change the seats back to the original 99-00 si seats and replace the steering with either a Momo or Personal, then do some engine bolt ons and suspension..... That's it, then just enjoy it. Beautiful car tho man, good luck, I love em1's.

EK seats are extremely uncomfortable and sit too high. I would go with DelSol seats with the red stripes.
Nice, clean ride. I would redo all the suspension components. New steering wheel and maintain it. Also try to keep the parts era correct

Re: Milano Red Em1 slowly restoring
I agree with the both of you....but I would just put them in because i prefer my Si's, GSR's, and Type-R's to be more on the OEM with certain parts (mainly body and interior)

I get the 8th gen seats are not ideal on an em1 based on generations. I picked them because they are comfortable, bolsters offer better support, the stitching and si logo look great with my personal interior. Here's another shot.

those 8th gen seats actually look really good in there, they're actually cheaper than s2k seats too often times
was it a lot of work to get the rails to bolt on ?

Re: Milano Red Em1 slowly restoring
The brackets from the 8th gen seats don't line up with the civic holes. So they won't bolt up. I bought some brackets from eBay for my civic and just welded the seats to brackets.

Picked up type r boot from a member here to match the center console armrest.
Saw a thread on the integra forums on a diy ct engineering airbox so I thought I give it a shot. Here's progress.
