Car looks great man. Where did you have it painted and how much did it cost if you don't mind me asking? I'm getting mine painted as well here in a couple of months and am thinking about having it done at a shop in West Chester but wouldn't mind shopping around a bit.

Thanks man. A buddy of mine painted it for a hell of a deal in his friends make shift paint booth. How much are you looking to spend? I will see if he is willing to do it for you.

Well all of the body work will be done and the car will be in primer so he wouldn't have to worry about any of that. I think the guy I talked to at the shop quotted around $400 or so (I doubt supplies were included in that cost though) just the exterior though...no interior, jams, bay, or any of that. I was trying to keep it around $500 or so. Let me know man I appreciate it.

They quoted you at 400 to prep it, spray it, and everything? Seems pretty cheap. Do they do good work? Supplies will probably be another $400ish dollars (depending what all you get, and if you can get a hook up anywhere). I think I have close to 1k into the body work on my car including replacing the bumpers, all the supplies and materials for the body work, paint and paint supplies (which I got a decent hook up on), and the actual labor (which I also got the hook up on). I hope that helps you out a little bit. LMK

Yeah it seemed a bit cheap to me too haha. I was gonna head up there though and check out some of the cars they've done. Dude said that they do alot of custom work though. I'll keep your buddy in mind though. Thanks bro.

Got a few new pics... I took this one the other day when I was out and about...

I also picked up some wheels for the DD off of a local site for a pretty good deal. Couldnt pass up the new tires on them that I needed so bad!

A good lookin pair you got. Is the black one, the one you were originally were fixing up? The mesh wheels look clean. Your hand getting healed up to get out and do some riding?

Thanks! yeah, the black one is the one I started working on... Then ended up finding a cleaner one to build(the red one). As far as the wheels, they are in pretty good conditions, just the tires are a little bigger than I would prefer(60 series!). But yeah, my hand is finally healed up. Still real sensitive on the finger tip, but its good! Finally!

Sorry for the lack of updates guys. I have been busy and the weather here in Ohio has been anything but nice since I currently have no garage...

I am trying to sell my Volks right now to go with something a little bit different and also get a few other goodies for my car in the near future

But as for what I have been doing... A friend sent me and another guy that I work with a 'helmet camera'. This thing is amazing to say the least... It should be getting a lot more use this spring/summer for a lot more than BMX riding... Check out the video!

I like how you changed the little things that seem to see alot of wear, like the door panels.
Looks good man, hope to see a nice outcome soon.

I'm in the process of getting new wheels right now. I have a few things laying around my house waiting to go on still... but plan on getting new lugs, a roof rack, maybe window visors in the near future. As far as the engine goes... still trying to decide what route I want to take. Should have something ready for spring though!
