Finally started working on the DC4 yesterday.

Removed the OEM exhaust system.

Bye bye old OEM exhaust! It's for sale if anyone is interested.

A skunk decided to take its place.

Y no cat? Because race car.

B18B1 has been dropped and AC components have been removed.

That's all for now. More updates are coming soon!

The JDM B20B swap has been completed! AEM intake and DC Sports header have also been installed. Here are some photos. Enjoy!

Yeah I know, the engine bay needs some cleaning.

AEM 3" ITR cold air intake system.

DC Sports ceramic 4-1 one-piece header.

Rear shot of the Skunk2 Racing Mega Power cat-back exhaust system.

Ok I'm lost I see you buying a bunch of expensive name brand parts but I don't get what direction you are taking your car. Are you A: Just slapping a car together with wheels & a drop or B: your prepping for a nice swap later on with pretty much a clean car?

Basically, I'm building her to be my weekend track car. The B18B1 that came with the car was in a poor state and was misfiring pretty badly so I got a JDM B20B as replacement while I rebuild my B18C1.

Now that she's running, I'm planning on taking her to the track to get some testing done. But before I do that, she needs a few more upgrades. Suspension bushings, new track tires, etc...

Here's a short video clip of the Skunk2 Racing Mega Power cat-back exhaust system. Nothing crazy, just a cold start-up. A second and third video with a warm start-up, rev, drive-away, and fly-by are in the works.

DJ got a free car wash thanks to my neighbor's sprinkler system on Saturday.

My friend and I Plasti Dipped 90% of DC4's front end yesterday. All that's missing is the hood, which will be painted this weekend. Came out better than we thought. It should hold up until I repaint the entire exterior sometime this coming winter.

After a 3-year hiatus, I finally got back on the track with my new Project DC4. Back in 2009 at Buttonwillow Raceway Park, my PB in my old DB8 was 2:24.xxx. Yesterday in the DC4, I managed a new PB of 2:14.xxx. Can't wait to get back out there and shave off a couple of more seconds!
