Yeah, trying to take my time and do it right this time. Not that the EG/GSR I had was not done right, just taking this one a little further

I thought about changing over to a cream/off-white, but going to keep it white. Not sure the exact color at this time though. I do know it will be PPG paint

Yeah, I love taking pics even though it slows the work down. I also like browsing the pics and seeing what needs to be done next without going to look at the car I've always wanted to do a rebuild thread too
I'll be working on her within the next 2 days. More progress pics to come.....

Here we go Day 3:
Look at all those leaves. That entire system was disgusting!!
Looking better now:
On to the firewall mat. It was a PITA on the drivers side up around the steering column. I got very frustrated because I had to get my hand up in small areas with a razor blade to help cut parts of the mat
Fedex cheered me back up:
Long a$$ extension FTW
After the firewall mat was removed which BTW weighs 8 pounds, I started on the SRS system.
Couldn't "unscrew" the bolts so I drilled them out with my brand new drill:
SRS unit for those who've never seen it. My first time seeing one
Next was the windshield wiper system. Don't plan to drive in the rain and Rain-X works wonders
Just 4 10mm bolts holding it along with a wire harness to disconnect:
Cleaner and of course weight reduction is always good
Day 3's work:
How she sits after Day 3:
ECU tucked Time to work on the fuse box and possibly the battery
Almost time to start prepping for interior paint
