Just a appearance build thread.
Well It's been quite some time and not much has changed on the car. I have been hitting the track from time to time and been having fun with the car. I took it on a few small road trips, switched from RA1's to slicks, and played with set up. Was able to hit 1:26's at the local track.

I sold the brakes as I didn't need them and they weren't really my cup of tea. I got some new RLCA's

I got a Haltech PS2000 and a header then hit the dyno.
Before/after

I never got to run the car at the track like this. My motor started to use oil on track and the smoking was only getting worse. I looked at rebuilding but thought the $ would be better spent on a swap. Pulled out the old...

Started prepping the new motor.

Test fitting.

On to the bay. Remover the stock mount and cut down the Hasport mount. It's half the weight now.

Cleaned up the A/C lines

Painted

Worked on the harness. Really just a reloom. Just like the motor. I'd rather have thing easy to work on then look super clean. I'm keeping the fuse box in the stock placement ect ect.

PS fittings

Built a fuel line bracket.

Welded in the mount.

Got the rad. I will see if these fans will do. They came with it.

How it sits with out abs, fuel lines, ect.

YEP! And it was all b/c of me... They are still going strong even with that HUGE hole I drilled in them. It was function7 BTW my sway bar is ASR.
Did a little work on it today.
Cleaned up the hood latch.

Got all the rust off all the spot weld on the rad support and primed it.

Did the same to the new mount.

Nope, no turbo on this car. If I was doing that I would have stuck with the B.
'what plastics were scratched? " I think your referring to these?
