Picking up a set of JDM thin side moldings tomorrow brand new in box locally, so thatll go in the pile with new badges/etc for when its painted. Should be going to the booth WITHIN the next 3-4 weeks at the most, just depends on how fast he gets the other car's hes working on done.

Installed my JDP lip tonight so it could already be drilled and lined up so its ready to be put straight on with no troubleshooting after paint. Lined up quite nice I believe, its coming off before it goes in the booth of course but ill rock it for now even though the car looks like crep.
Its the JDP OE1 92-93 Style btw for those wanting to know.

Guess once the paints done in the next little bit, ill save for koni yellows/ground controls, then take out a loan to rebuild the engine to OEM except for some very small upgrades internally and wire tuck while its out. And hopefully get the bay sprayed while its out too.

Re: itslogz's 1993 Integra GSR Build Thread!
Alright so the hood that I got to put on before paint, had like 8 layers of old crappy paint on it. So i stripped it as far as i could then hit the rest of the factory primer left over with a poly abrasive wheel on a angle grinder to get it to bare metal. Looks rough in the pics but its smooth to the touch, just needs a good sanding + primer. Looks 100% ding/dent free from what I could see in any angle of lighting. ALOOOOT better than the one that was on the car, it was rusted/bent/dented to hell lol
Heres the pics of the car ready to roll to body work and paint, dropping it off tomorrow so i got as much as i could done to still be able to drive it there so my painter didnt have to do the small bullshit. All thats left to take off is the taillights pretty much.
Once again, getting all body work done, door jambs and hatch jambs and exterior done with sikkens milano red base/clear.
I left the door side moldings on since he advised me not to try to remove them myself because it could possibly warp the door, and since im putting thins on it i dont care to be careful to not break the clips, so im gonna let him take those off.
I hate the car looking like so much *** but i know its gonna look great once i get it back and put all the parts back on, so excited to finally get a good paint job.
Will have updated pics in a week or so i'd guess once all the body work is done before he starts painting it, then of course updated pics once its painted and all the parts back on, gonna get someone do to a shoot for me since my crappy camera isnt gonna cut it for fresh paint.

Re: itslogz's 1993 Integra GSR Build Thread!
UPDATE TIME
Body work almost complete, got to head over tonigth and get some pics of it mostly done, the quarter panel is done, had to have a thin layer of filler layed over the whole QP to ensure it was all even, its really a thin layer, dont think its just caked on filler throughout the whole thing, you can see where it breaks in the middle and you can see primer again. Hood hasnt been sanded down yet in the pics, filler was just put on in the spots it would need it and hes still got to sand it. He welded the emblem holes for the hood btw, not just filler. Trunk holes for the spoiler were welded as well. The passenger side door is not done yet either, but he taped the spots that needed it. The car needed alot of work, as you can tell. 16 years of dings and faded paint, this is going to be a day and night difference.
Without further adue?

Yeah? Thinner side moldings and cleaner headlights, wheres the problem? I know you're gonna say "Because a GSR should be kept original" well the side moldings and headlights are alot cleaner looking than the stock ones, it would look like ******* with stock headlights after all this, and you know it. You notice how the moldings on the rear and front bumper, dont stick out much? Why the hell should all the side moldings stick out further than the rest? the thin ones actually look like they were made to go stock on any g2. I would be the last person on this entire forum to mention the word "JDM", i could give 100% of a **** about JApAnESE jDMMD parts, its just for the cleaner look vs the stock ****
Plus, when I got the car the car was completely stock after i removed the egay turbo kit, except for the one pieces and blades. Thin moldings were a local guy for a good price, and they look great, i dont really think the side of the car not having bulky stock side moldings sways the car to far away from originality, just because the side isnt gonna say VTAK i guess. I'd rather it not, I may not even put the GSR badge that i bought on it, 3 of my friends cars got stole in the past 4 months. A 94 GSR, a 00 SI, and a 02 rsx type s, they all clearly display there vtakness, i'd rather not give a thief something else to want it for.

Welp got this text from my painter today with this teaser shot, the QP looks to have turned out amazing, it looked so terrible before.
Expecting to have it back anywhere from monday-thursday next week, thats just a safe estimate.
