....it's going to be slow and ugly! Lots of pics..
Hello HT. I've been working on this build for waaay too long but it's been making some head way lately. I bought this eg bone stock and have only done little things here and there, since it was my daily for so long (4 years). I was able to buy another vehicle to dd, so "good" work has been started. This is my first turbo build so please be gentle. Questions, comments, advise welcome. Enjoi.
Some beginning shots of the build.
Some parts I have been collecting.
R-Crew Exhaust
Turbo kit I picked up from the PFC Hatch guys in Colorado. Check em out on you tube. Bad ***!
CTR Cams
Rebuilt GSR Trans and beed blasted case.
Some install shots...
New/used suspension. Can't wait to see how these feel.
Some vital watchers..
More parts...
Home made catch can.
More install shots. These are of the tuck. After looking at these I think I can def tighten it up a bit.
She's almost run ready right here. Just waiting on some lines, hardware and radiator. Also need to install the rail, injectors and catch can.

Thanks everyone. I'm def trying to go with "function over fashion" at the moment. I'll have a couple teasers comin up next week. New wheels, some fittings and lines and boost solenoid. Also started tearing down the interior. Pics soon.

Small update of a couple odds and ends...
Bigger update! wheels came in but i dont know how i feel about the offset. They're +25. with the right tires they'll be hella flush lol. I wanted to run 225/45 tires on these but i dont think thats gonna happen.

Re: ....it's going to be slow and ugly!
So finally some new updates. The last few days I've been going through the motor an all accessories making sure everything is perfect. There is sooo much to do but a lot done. I installed a much needed radiator and fan. My down pipe is a lil large and in charge so i had to move the radiator over. This required me to drill out the bottom mounts, re tapping in new locations and fabing my own top rad. stay. Not great but it works for now. Next, was onto getting the fuel system installed, cutting, re pinning and soddering the new clips and wires. Also, installed the boost solenoid and vacuum lines, just need to wire it up. ENJOI

The bov, i was all ways under the impression you wanted it closest to the TB. correctly if I am wrong, does this keep more pressure in your manifold or what? Clean build never the less. Any plans of welding up the holes in the core support and the bay?

^^^^from the research I've done, placing the bov before the Intercooler will eliminate unwanted heat from soaking into the intercooler during daily driving or situations where you would be cycling your bov heavily. This location helps prevent hot air going through your cooler for no reason.
As far as shaving the bay, I like the look on a lot of cars on here and wherever but for me and my setup, I like just the tucked look.
