Hell to the mother****in NO!!! That's just silly. I want to see some track time so something like that would never happen to my rig.

Lol yes of course there will be updates and yes in the near future. There's a moroso oil pan in the mail that's baffled and has oil drain back privileges. I received a solenoid from waytek so I can complete the power supply to the car. I'll have a couple pics up of that install here in a few days. Maybe this upcoming week I'll have time to install my gauges, dash etc and finish up the front of the interior, so I'll have some pics of that too. Thanks for looking!!

^^^^Thanks dude. Yeah it seems like a good spot. Easy and maybe a lil advantage in getting a lil weight off the front end..
Hey thank you very much!! The sound deadening isn't too tough but kind of annoying. I did use dry ice initially, which worked but not as well as I'd hoped. I think I needed to use more for better coverage. Other then that I used an agle grinder with a wire wheel on it to clean it up then palm sander then abrilla (SOS) pad, primer, paint and finally clear. As far as weight it's probably less then 10 lbs. besides the small weight saving, I did it to clean up the interior.

Got an upgrade a lil diff then a car part but should make the pic sharing a bit more exciting......
The old...
The new....kinda..
Now onto a new part! CHECKERD SPORTS liquid filled fuel pressure gauge. If you don't have this, you need it!! Such a nice and very affordable piece!!

The battery I picked up for $120 shipped from inline four. The rest of it I picked up from a local napa, including the sheet metal. Prolly about $180??.

Yeah pretty simple. Just measure the depth, length and height of the battery and make your bends according to your measurements. I had an angle grinder to cut away any excess material. On top I left it mostly open accept a small flap to keep the battery down.

Re: ....it's going to be slow and ugly!
Had a chance to get some work done this evening. Power supply is all hooked up now. On the solenoids left side we have battery and alternator and on the right, is fuse box power supply, starter and fuel pump. The posts in the middle are what the kill switch is hooked up to and how power will be controlled. The relay in the pics are what the fuel pump is now hooked up to so it can be ran inline with the kill switch and other accesssories. Also, rewired the fuel pump with all big boy wire to make sure it will keep up with the power I'm hoping to get. I know the wiring is pretty messy looking but will all be shortend and cleaned up. enjoi!!

This came in the mail today. It has a baffle so my pump will never starve and provisions for oil drain back and temp sensor. Install shots will be a few days.. enjoi...
