Well the guy had another offer for the car and some extra stuff he had. I dont need anything but the car so I couldnt beat the deal. He said that if that guy didnt fall through then he would let me know. Ahh I dont really need another one anyways.

I started working on the car today. Finishing hooking everything up. I pretty much have the complete harness together other than the headlights. I have ran into alittle problem with a missing wire but I think I am about to sniff it down...

My day has started out pretty crapy though because I have drill into the side of the frame rails but all my drills are dead, and I cannot find 1 charger. I am going to have to go buy a charger just to finish the job. I am thinking about going ahead and trying to start the car even though the headlights, corners, and marker lights are not hooked up. I dont see what it could hurt and I just cannot wait to see if it starts back....

Usually I’ll start an engine that has already been broken-in without hooking up radiator, axles, and stuff like that just to make sure it fires up ok and I don’t have to pull everything back out if there is a problem. On a new build I don’t do this because I like to fire it up once after priming the oil pump and let it go through a heat cycle, drain the oil and change filter. Head light should not make a difference just make sure on hot wires are touching anything.

post some pics!

I have a tube bender so 400 is steep for me. I would warn you though it can be dangerous to rock a cage in a street car. Make sure you pad it when not wearing a helmet. Otherwise you could knock you head and get a concussion. If you are comfortable with the sacrifice of having a cage I say go for it.

Oh ****, Harmonator is going back to his roots, saws-all the roof off insert roll bar and some BIG *** KC flood lights (I live back in the wood you see, my children, my woman, my dog and me) you know how they do it in Kentucky.

I took the liberty of photoshopping a pic for you ala Chip Foose style! (in best Pedro voice) I have no skillz

I dunno I have yet ti build one. I want to tube my Samurai up before I start doing them for people. It is gonna be my practice. I bought a $900 bender and have not yet used it. I soon will be building one for my CRX though, probably a 10pt. That would be nice to tide me over until I get time though.
