Todays Progress.. not so great, but progress is progress. spent a lot of time getting the solenoids for my projectors working properly.

Driverside Headlamp harness complete. waiting to drop the motor to put the fenders on. passenger side just has to be loomed then its good to go. not too worried about it right now because im going to pull it all out late on and redo all the wiring with fancy sleeving and delete all the crap i don't use/want from the main harness.

slight dilemma in the build. the 13" steelies the shell came on, wont clear the rotors/calipers in the front, no funds for tires for the rpf1's either.. fantastic!

 

Wowzer that freaking blows.. Great progress though.

bought it from a member on honda-tech about a year and a half ago.

I don't know about shorsh but my RPF1's are 16x7 +43 tires in that picture were 205-45-16
Thanks, the car's actually 'done' I guess. I just got it BAR'd registered and insured.. took it to the Norm Reeves Honda meet in Cerritos and i plan on being there next month also if anyone wants to see it.

its still missing a lot, but i think the biggest hurdle was getting it going again and so now the build will continue where my last hatch did, a very slow build of whatever i feel like doing to it for the time being.

Shock tower was a victum of the stupid UCA.. never before has this happened. GREAT!

I Used a 97' Civic EX charcoal canister.

got some beater wheels..

 

hatch wing and side skirts. that color looks to be DAP ek color. Dark Ameythist Pearl.

yeah.. spoiler, sideskirts, and rear lip are all at the shop still waiting to be painted. it looks DAP some days other days black ameythist pearl, some days blackberry pearl.

Can you Pm me the color code that you have, its georgous. Also, is that a B16 si motor? I am planning to do a swap soon for my 99 cx. If that is the si motor are you running stock exhaust?

 

PM'd.. It is a B16a2 'si' Motor, im running the factory Midpipe/cat from a 99' Civic EX and the Muffler is the Original 96' DX hatchback muffler.

I've neglected to update this thread consistently but here's a current photo or two..


So basically..
got an antenna plate so i can wash the car without water getting everywhere.
finally got sideskirts/spoiler on the car.
went 5lug.
rebuilt 4 B series trans.
became transmission expert.
killed the tires on the GM itr wheels.
got some rotas for super cheap.
put in a GSR Diff, no more diff breaking for me.
RAISED the car up.
got an alignment. lol
mounted one of the recaros (still have to make the passenger rail.)
decided how I want my interior.

Current/future plans: finish doing the interior (mount seat, re-cover stuff in fabric)
Looking for New Suspension... VERY Unhappy with the F2's at this point and I want something more. Rollcage. Clean up the mess that damn Cam Seal made.

I'll add more photos later since no one reads and just likes to look at pictures. haha.
