Yea the inside had to grow on me as well but i do love it now.. Yea the old white one was my favorite for sure, furthest of my never ending project but this one will be even better.. The black coupe had titling issues and it appeared to have been hit on the driver side when i removed the fenders that's why I scrapped that shell..

very cool!

fact is, the scene has come more or less full circle and rice is back in. not the cheap APC and andy's auto sport rice; less tacky and more sophisticated, but wild nevertheless. I say big to the color.

@EGallmota

how did you get the paint on your block to sit so smooth? or is that just post processing on the photo to smooth it out?

its not post processing.. its really smooth.. i primed the block with high temp paint with the mindset of painting it but liked the way the primer looked so i just cleared it with high temp clear.. nothing special.. Rattle can job, just took my time and painted like i was using a spray gun..

Here is a pic of how they were when i just received them back in March 2010..

Been really busy with work and this cold weather hasn't been too motivational.. Anyway since the bay got sprayed a few of the suspension parts received some over spray so i decided to pull it all off.. Planing to paint them all back black and undercoat the fender wells and the lower portion of the bay while it all cleared out..

Why was it green on the inside? You should paint it the same color. Diff. Color bays looks super tacky.

On a different note, the polished GT3's look good!

The guy I originally bought the car from used to auto cross it and he painted it free, I dug it so i kept it and matched the bay.. I like colored bays within reason, the white straight through was clean on my old coupe.. I just wanted something different.. I am not painting the exterior that color because I just couldn't see myself hoping in that everyday.. to each his own...

Finally got around to messing with the car some more last week.. Started painting over the front suspension pieces from all the overspray during the painting of the engine bay.. Ive only resprayed the subframe so far.. I also decided I would undercoat the inner fender wells as well as the bottom of the firewall, exhaust tunnel area.. I will probably end up under coating the whole bottom..

Finally got around to working on the car, finished up painting all the suspension parts.. Getting ready for the re-install, then I'm on to tearing apart the rear and giving those parts some love as well..
