ED2 Sedan is going on....
Did I show my EDM ED2 Sedan ever here?

My car is a...
Honda Civic 1.4 (GL)
Modell: ED2 Sedan
Power: 66 kW/90 hp
Year its built: 1987
Date of first registration: 7.7.1988
Automatic transmission, Choke, Doublecarb., no electric - only function
so... these are the ORIGINAL things!
As my grandpa was still alive, he hand-me-down this car. This was in September 2003.
I drove with the car original 'til I met a guy, who's drivin a CRX ED9.
And then, I was infected by the Honda fever
only a month later someone donated me his old alloy rims.
For the first alloy rims, I thought, they are enough :lol:
Only three months later, there are H&R springs coming.
And I built them in directly.
Now it was 35 mm lower - pretty cool for the first time.
And then, only one month later, again (now: August 2005) I bought such nice O.Z. Racing F1 rims. 7.5"x15", offset 37mm, with 195/45R15 tires.
The next I bought, were unfortunately some useless parts, that I sold pretty fast.
Time, to show pictures from the first days:
April 2005: My first 14 inch alloy rims *woohoo* :lol:
September 2005: With H&R sportsprings and 15inch O.Z. racing F1 rims infront of the 2. best Honda dealer in the nearer towns
In March 2006 (only on my birthday *hrhr*) I bought a sport exhaust from "Mohr". 2x90mm. Very loud. Very good. Very nice. Very rare.

and in spring 2006 I bought some nice corner lights for my sedan.
I cleaned the blinker-lights in the fenders and set them into the corner lights, cause there are no blinkers in the corner lights, in Europe

In summer 2006 I bought a facelift frontbumper off a ED3 Sedan (1990) and the taillights off it.

On the picture you can see the emberassing lip, I'd mounted at this time

Here I was in Berlin infront of the Berlin wall, to help my sister at here moval into another flat
October 2006: infront of the Honda Europe cantral at Offenbach/Main
Only one day after that picture a horrible accident happens....
One piston had a hole.
So I burned much oil.
Then the car I signed off and I bought a Honda Accord.
So, now I make a jump into the year 2007
It's October, again.
And the ED2 is alive, again!
Friends of mine repaired the engine.
And it ran like on the first day 8)

As far, as you can see on the pictures: Now it's lower, than before.
Wohooo! What did happen?
I bought a winding sport suspension of H&R.
I winded it down, so far, that I had only 30 mm air between mid-exhaust and the bottom
You have to know: I have a mid-exhaust from a Civic EE9 (VTEC) under my car and a 4-2-1 manifold of a CRX (1988, D16A9) built in... hehe...
And then (May 2008) the worst case happend.
I drove 30 km without oil pump - and I didn't notice it.
So, now is the engine is definitaly is broken.
GODDAMN!
I was long on a search for an engine.
First I thought: "Come'on boy! Build in a D16A6 (ED7) or D16Z2 (ED7) or D16Z5 (DOHC, CRX ED9)"
And then, somthin' happend to me. I don't know what.
But then I had that damn great idea to build in a B16A1 of a EE8 (CRX VTEC) or a EE9 (Civic VTEC) with 150 hp.
So, I found quite fast a seller of a CRX EE8.
But then he said, that he wants to hold the car.
DAMNISH!
New search.
Now I found a seller, and I hope the engine comes in the next days.
Please keep your fingers crossed for me!
I think my ED2 can run til April 1st, but that's impossible.
There's so much to do, on that car, you cannot believe it
So, in the meantime, since the engine is broken, I bought some things, 'cause it was so boring without my ED2.

im kinda curious, who makes those fog lights? i have a set of USDM fog's and JDM fogs both from stanley. and none of mine look like that. is it a Germany option only?? my usdm fogs came off of a 90-91 4Dr.
