Default db8 build

well i took the old trusty db8 for a drive few days ago before i was going to boost her and something just didn't feel right and what do you know something was really wrong so i checked compression and it wasn't good at all considering i just built the motor 500 miles ago the readings from the check were 110 120 85 85 ??? so i was like whoah holy **** checked oil looked good no knocking wtf headgasket was good no oil in the water so being stumped the motor came out again and what do you know when i put the pistons in my dang rings weren't the right size had .017 of gap when it should be .0018 on a new built motor with new rings as mine had so i was like wtf the company sent me the wrong ones :S what a head ache so heres a few pics of the tear down rebuild should begin soon >:D ls-t on 12lbs here i come

day 1 got the head off as well as the radiator and front end (all b series ac stuff forsale no pics atm but pm me for pics if u want some)









begining of day two as she sits

after some head scratching i found this out(man look at that gap)

got the motor out today time for wire tuck and clean up boy was she a bi*ch





day 3 picked up the turbo and dov as well as some ic pipe



Day 4

look at the clean head it came really clean i was suprised

parts finally starting to arrive >:D fmic for the win

can anyone guess what this is from :7

you guesses it right wire tuck for the win i dont know what i got myself into its a big mess lol



had to take a break and clean up the garage a little it was a mess

Day 5 Bov arrived stock uncrushed dsm bov

crank which is completely [freak]ed :'(

i need a bigger tool box they wont fit so there all on the floor

dirty trans still needs cleaning



cleaned the block up a little not sure if i should paint it or not i need help paint it silver, black, or leave it the way it is





cleaned up the wiring a little bit still alot more work to be done



went and bought this last week its been a great pressure washer went in halfs with my dad sucker was 800 bucks but get the job done and what do you know its a suby :6

DB8's are GSR man... you sure this isn't a DB7?
