Civic STD. Start of the build.
I posted this on ef honda. Figure ill move it here for some more feedback
Hello, My name is josh. Iv been into hondas since like 15 lol. Im 19 now so all the body kits and neons are gone lol. This is my 2nd ef that iv owned. I used to own a crx with a ls vtec. Too bad i sold it :roll: Well here is a few pics of the crx.
But i sold that so on to the STD. So the story with this is i took a friend to buy a 89 DX hatch, and i told him i wouldn't make him put gas in my truck if he let me get some parts from his house that i needed. He agreed and we started our quest for about 3 hour drive. He arrived there and loaded the car up. Everything went smooth. While on our way back he realized he couldn't put both his new DX and his STD in his side yard. Well then he offered me the car for free. (Other then the gas for the truck.) So i said hell yeah. Iv been wanting a project car for awhile now and well... i got it. Here it is! Papa Smurf
Sorry for the crappy pictures... Only thing i had on me was my iPhone. I promise to get my girlfriends camera and get some better ones.
Of course its rusty. Its a 91 but iv already got some patch panels for rust repair. I got the rear bumper, tails, front corners. Just need a driver side fender. Right now I'm in the process of pulling the poopy dpfi 4 speed out lol.
Plans are just to find a nice z6 to sport around in for a little bit, but plans do change so i wouldnt be surprised if i decide to go b series or something.... Thats it for now. just wanted to start this thread for some feedback.

Start off by sharing my D16a6 trans that the kid painted blue.... Gonna get all that off and clean it up. Other then that though its in really good shape. I also picked up a MPFI harness, Shift linkage with short shifter and bushing, Clutch cable, And some accord heater controls modded to fit a ef??? Only paid 150 for it all.

So i went to work this easter sunday. Picked up a d16z6 and a p28 for 160!!?!?!?!

Motor is pretty clean. Has a little oil leak from the vtec sol. Ordered the gasket already.
