Welded all the corners back up that I cut off for clearance problems. Found the old starter and as you can see no problems. Going to finish welding the mounts onto the tank before I pressure it again. After that I have to seal the inside and paint the outside.

I will be starting the front sub-frame for the headlights and crash protection next week. Here's the headlights I'm going to use.

Also going to make the brackets to hold the inline fuel pump and filter. After that I can make the custom fuel lines. Already have the fittings and breaded stainless steel hose.

Working on finishing up connecting the steering column to the rack. If you don't remember the first rack I mocked up had a big problem. The wheels would go left when you steer right. Make a great security system.
Here's what the front firewall looks like from the first try.
Decided to make the firewall kick out for extra room. Now just have to cut the old wall to match the new panel.

Got to thinking if the custom inner tie rods off the steering rack that turned the wrong direction would work. May need to cut some treads off the end but it works. Now just have to paint it and put the boot on.

Been working on some computer designs for the dash and the front nose sub-frame. I've cut some of the metal but haven't welded anything yet. I'm off again this weekend and hopefully will get time to work on it.

The steering rack is done. I forgot to take a picture, I'll take one and upload later. Wasn't able to get much done over the weekend. Sprained my left ankle unloading the truck bring things back from the storage unit. It still hurts so working on some little things. Bolted up the factory water outlet to check my spacing. Great, something else that wants to go threw something else. No big deal, I had already figured this would happen. Removed the sensor to see what the thread are and I lucked out. The threads are the same as oxygen sensor threads. I had ordered 4 oxygen sensor bungs for the exhaust already. Next is cutting out a new water outlet flange based off the old outlet.

Started making the bracket to hold the inline fuel filter. Still need to cut and weld the metal to link the clamps and mount to the frame. Plus some grinding of the sharp edges.

Started welding the zip tie tabs for the brake lines. Took a picture with a bolt zip tied for anyone that doesn't know they work. All the bent tabs will hold the brake hard lines. I also have normal zip tie tabs for the wiring harness to weld on. I also welded on the tabs that hold the brake line adapters. The adapters go from standard the 3/16 brake line thread to 3AN. I'll run 3AN flex line from them to the calipers. The 3AN flex line will also be used from the 2 brake master cylinders to the Wilwood 260-11179 proportioning valve.

Still working on the car. Plus resetting the garage to get the most out of the room. Will post up some more pictures later. Here's a picture of the cat with v-clamp flanges and O2 sensor bung.

Here's the exhaust pipe that is going under the engine. Only tacked up right now. Need to make the oval to round adapter. 3 in round put it to close to the oil pan and frame. I didn't want to notch the frame for more room.
