hey everyone, just picked up this 89 DX hatch. its pretty rough but i can deal with it. for this build im going for a "quick" clean lookin hatch. not going to be all out boost or all motor crazy. building it with a mcdonalds paycheck lol

bought it off a freind for $400. not too bad. bad axles, clutch is almost gone. interior is complete(cargo cover tooo!!).












i hate this the most. ^^


motor isnt staying there. ive decided to make my sedan the DD family ride and the hatch for the "rice car"

soon to go in is a fully rebuilt B16a2/GSR cams/ACT 6 puck clutch/B16cable tranny.

but first, clean it up a bit. when the weater decides to stop raining ill get to work. more updates soon!

well i hope this goes where i want it to. not to worried on how it looks. i can live with the damage. i think its funni when junky lookin cars smoke nice lookin cars.

TODAY i didnt get to do what i wanted to because the cleaning process took longer than i thought. theres alot of **** inside and alot of cleaning. i think i went threw a whole spray bottle of armor all. lol and now the pics

washed her up good and cleaned the F out the interior. idk why i didnt take pics of it. lol anywhoo tomorrow brings out more stuff

true. i think i might cover up the uglynees with the "mugen" bodykit. i need to stop being lazy. updates to eventually come....

-possibly put my crx Si's on
-Si cluster
-replace tailights
-90-91 front bumper
-"mugen" eg front lip!!! (i broke it already)
-full exhaust

the heart transplant (B16a2) is soon to come. either sunday?tue? or wed? depends on the doctor. updates to come. i promise theyll be good ones!

 

*sigh. well got the Si cluster in. replaced the center piece of the tailight. i guess i need a new hatch cuz its not going to stay on there with it all bent up. got the 91 bumper sorta on. for some reason it ont bolt up. maybe because im usings 90-91 bumper support. ill try again another time. as for the hatch.... not sure what the plans are, still not 100%on what im going to do to it.
