Bryce's Honda life in Fargo build thread!
#1

I have been building my crx for 5 years now. Everything I have learned started with this car. She stated off stock at 89,ooo miles after the first year I had panted it, and started modifying the car right away. It was so easy to find parts for, and to work on. It was a perfect first real car to buy.
Here are a few of the best pictures from over the years.

In 2oo6 I put a Integra Xsi B16a in it from Hmotorsonline. After driving it hard at the end of 2oo8 the rod bearings gave way, so I picked up a B16a3 and put that in her this spring. Here are a few shots from that build.

And then I took the crx to the P10 car show in Fargo (Our biggest car show of the year) then to the drags, and now have started a re-build again. This time bigger and better. Here are a few pictures of the crx at p10.

Now how it sits today.

The plans, are to build a built Lsvtec motor, boost it, and well I'm collecting parts for that I plan on restoring the body. New quarter pannels, all new plastic, and new paint.
In the mean time I always have a few prodjects going at once, so I'm also restoring my DD. It's a 1992 Si, it was super beat when I got it but pretty much stock. We put new quarters in it, and I'm replacing pretty much every body pannel I can then its going to get painted. Here are a few shots from that build!

How the hatch looks today! Some of the body work done, and a growing collection of parts.

I dont know what I would do with out cars, its a true passion. Most of my friends, and rollmodels I have got from building Hondas and its really lucky to have it in your life.

A buddy came over with his new EF so we started grilling, and restoring some faded trim.

Hey for $700 it was not to bad of a deal in the Fargo area.

Much better.

My roomate, who is also works for Honda picked up a new hatch today. So I will toss in pictures of that build too as we work on it. Plans are a DD built & boosted GSR.

Well it just traded hands again, so we don't have to worry about tossing that car together right away.
(Sorry guys I picked up a Sony 10.2 SLR with a 18/70 lense for this build thread, but my chick is using it for a bit so I will be shooting with a junk Sayno 7m camera)
Lastnight Clutch Victory got together, had a few drinks and pulled my motor. Today I pushed the car out and gave her a good wash.

I pulled off my transmission and found some hot spots on the flywheel and pressure plate. No wonder I was getting some clutch chatter. This week I'm going to attack my mess of a wiring and maybe mock up my ITR master/booster.

sick build! you and your buds should take a drive out to winnipeg (3ish hours away) this saturday. We're having a big honda meet, you've probably seen a lot of peg city cars at p10.
