My TB is 68mm then tapers down to 65mm, I confirmed that with my digital caliper. When I do my valve seals, I'll confirm if it has Type S valvetrain or not. Too lazy to measure the cam lift. haha

All clean!
So my motor does have dual valve springs, the valve seals are being a bitch and won't come out and I've tried everything except a valve seal removal tool. -_-" So looks like I'm ordering another tool.

Got all the valve seals in finally, so damn time consuming! Now I can put back together the head.

Haha had to take a break from my motor, since my brothers torque wrench read incorrectly. It snapped and twisted my cam cap bolts and so I had to order new ones.

Dont forget for the torque wrench to be more precise the torque spec has to be i believe 10 or 20 perecent from the max or min rating. I also broke a cam cap bolt a my integra because i didnt have a more precise torque wrench.

My bolts came in today. The new ones are silver instead of black and look more rigid.

So I'm having problems getting that damn bolt out, I end up damaging the hole a little bit. Any suggestions other than a EZ out? This **** just ****ed up my day.

If you end up drilling it out and re tapping(which looks like the better option) I would use a drill press instead of a regular hand drill. I remember having to drill out a broken bolt in something non-engine related and it still looked like ****. If you can get access to a mill, that would be even better. Just my .02. But the build is looking GREAT so far man. Keep it up

As you can see to the right of the bolt is where the hand drill went off course. lol It could have been worse, but that little incident shouldn't affect the structural integrity too much. Otherwise I would be out $1500{including parts installed, that can't be removed) and rather than buy another one. I would just pick up a bare head and build this ****er up since I would have the head off and have to pay $125 for the head gasket . haha but yeah I don't feel like ****ing with it until the weekend.

i should have checked this build out sooner instead of just looking at the pics you post in the "built not built" thread. awesome work so far. as for the broken bolt... do yourself a favor and just take it to a machine shop. they can take it out properly and no time and should charge very little for doing so. i learned the hard way how easy it is to ruin a head from one broken bolt like that
