Re: B20vEF9's K20 Build
I got the Transmission Bracket on, shifter cable bracket on, and new oil filter on. I need to go pick up a 12x112 bolt from Honda, and then it's ready to test fit.

So I just figured out why I was having issues with my engine harness. It's because I have a K24a1 Engine Harness and not a K20a2 Engine Harness. FML!

Re: B20vEF9's K20 Build
Well I got a lot done today with the help of my boy Minh and Yo Danny.
The swap is in!
Test fitting to see where the bracket needs welded at.
The bracket is welded and the swap is now in it's home.
Everything is basically ready to go. Just need to modify the fuel line, get a k20a2 engine harness to do the wiring, coolant lines, and get Kpro!

Re: B20vEF9's K20 Build
great to see it in there man.. some exciting na experience coming your way. I just started my b20vtec, and of course seeing I'm cursed... coolant instantly in my oil within 10 seconds of running. Motor died on its own... last try for this **** motor, resurfacing the head again seeing the last resurface wasn't "glass smooth", shortening my dowel pins a bit, switching to a oem b20 gasket instead of golden eagle... also getting the head pressure tested. If it does it again...literally motor goes in trash. Been starting research on a k swap.

That's crazy. I would have never used a GE Gasket to begin with. It sucks to see you are having all those problem, but K Series FTW.

Re: B20vEF9's K20 Build
I picked up a new exhaust gasket, clips for the shifter cables, and axle nuts from Honda today since that was other things I was missing.

I put the exhaust manifold gasket on and bolted the header up. I also put the shifter cable clips on my shifter cables and I have all 6 gears with reverse, and I also put the axle nuts on since I bought new ones.

Re: B20vEF9's K20 Build
I sold MY FPR and I'm going to be selling my fuel lines and I'm going with the all black aeromotive fpr which I'm ordering tonight, and I'll be doing all black lines and AN fittings.
