Got the clip completely striped tonight. Took out what was left of the glass in the windshield and removed the sub frame. Taking a break tomorrow to go to the bar and have some fun. Going to start drilling out the spot welds latter this week will keep you all updated.





And I have everything organized into bins

its not hard, just time consuming. thats the one thing we dont have.

 

Finally had time to work on it. Got some work done nothing worth posting. Going to get the clip's firewall drilled out on sunday!

 

Got on the spot welds today. Ended up braking the spot weld drill bit I had and the replacements so i need to order another one this week. Here are is the progress me and Trost made today.

Almost got the clip completely apart just having trouble separating these two skins apart:

 

i think you missed a few spot welds on the upper left part where you circled it. try that out. i might have some pics on my DB build. check it out and compare them

Yea that isn't a recent pic. I got those. I figured out that I didn't drill the holes out big enough. Going to try to get the clip broke down this week.

I have worked on many a car before but never anything like this. Thanks letting me drill some wholes in your car Ryan!

 

Haven't worked on the clip all week bc of school. But I did pick these up tonight.

I know man. I have one last class left to take for school and it has been taking up a lot of my time. But 3 more weeks and will be done for good.
