Hey I am probably going to need to talk to Crazy Jim here in a couple of weeks once my bank account recovers from it getting painted. Going to send a lot of stuff to him.

Glass is getting pulled monday morning and more body work monday evening.

 

Got the glass pulled today. Got some of the small imperfections filled and sanded. Was going to re-prime but ran out of time.

 

hell of a build dude, great progress... looks stressful as **** tho, i know i couldnt deal with all that. a re-sprayed engine bay will do just fine for me haha

Well it started out that way with just a new paint job.....Then decided to shave it...Then decided to put in a RHD firewall.

I am so sick of body work. I just want to finish it and start putting parts on instead of taking them off.

no 98+ front and rear.

 

Put some more primer on it today. Letting it sit for the next couple of days and wet sanding it again on monday.

Wet sanded the whole car again today.




And got rid of the holes on the front bumper.


Tomorrow finish wet sanding and lay some more primer and get it ready for paint. Hopefully going to have it painted in the next couple of days. Have to see what kind of money I have to work with...

 

Finished wet sanding the engine bay tonight and scuffed the bumpers. Just need some more money to get it painted.

Yea right diesel is almost 5 a gallon. LOL. Plus I didn't think it will be painted before IA. All the painters I know just to lay the paint and with materials want 2 g's to paint the whole car. I am trying to find someone that will do it cheaper, but will do a good job. Know anyone around the Midwest? All the prep work is done and all they have to do is lay the paint and clear. I got the buffing and everything else that is involved covered after paint.

 

Now that were back from IA 08, we need to finish this thing for IA 09!!!!!
