wussup, pretty new to HT.. this is my first thread i'm always in the appearance n' build threads so i thought i'd start one.. been through quite a few cars since i was about 16,17.. traded this coupe for my DA9 with a jdm b16a motor swap all stock with headers.. i don't know everything about cars but i've been learning a **** load these past few years with just about every car breaking down and my buddies helping me diagnos the problem or i end up figuring it out on my own. not really familiar with posting stuff and making threads so bare with me ill post all the pics i have and all the info. i can give.

just keep in mind i'm only 21, jobless.. going to school fulltime and playing college baseball.. all the money i get is from FA lol.. or whatever money i can save up.. it's a really slow project in the making. not really into the "jdm" theme.. just want my car looking clean with the tasteful mods that "I" like.

the big plans i have for it though are:
RHD
Roll Cage
gutt the interior from the front seats back (just cause)
new wheels

i'm trying to keep this cars since ive already put alot of blood sweat n' tears AND money into it. i could care less if your car is faster.. it's my DD n' just want it to cruise n' for looks. for now atleast.
looking for lots of feedback on what you guys out there think positive or negative ill take both into consideration. thanks.

HOW I GOT IT/ 1ST DAY:
1994 honda civic dx coupe
-clean title
-68k on cluster and motor (doubt it)
-almond paint
-switched previous owners steelies and put on my ls mesh
-lowered on stock shocks up front with extended tophats GC coilovers sleeves and koni yellows in the rear with GC coilover sleeves (sold)
-smoked amber corners
-si tailights
-bwr purple subframe brace
-blox purple lca's
-rear camber kit (unknown brand)
-clear sidemarkers
-6k hid headlights
-stock dark grey interior
-wink mirror

i painted the VC and intake purple to match the ghetto purple engine bay.

 

freshened up the paint the same week i picked it up. picked up a CF hood for $20 plus my ebay deep dish steering wheel off my DA. traded my buddy his OEM corners form my smoked amber ones plus his purple lugnuts. ordered some foglights asap cause the bumper holes were lookin' nasty.

 

oh yeah n' it also came with one windshield wiper and the heater and everything that goes with it in the trunk LOL... imma try n' put it together before winter... picked up a yakima bike rack for $100 went on a shopping spree for stickers, spent like $25 on stickers -_- the foglights finally came in, went with the clear ones with a 3k hid kit.. painted the bumper cause it was looking gross. *all this has been done in the month of june 2011.*

 

don't mind the fake yellow fogs on the headlights, just wanted to see what it would look like. there's a crack on the cf hood where the bandaids are.. oh and threw on my C-Pillar bar from my DA.. fits kinda slanted, but it's ok for now. was using it as my B-Pillar, but i couldn't put my seats back far enough.. also forgot to mention the car came spoon replica side mirrors and window visors.

 

love that they chose to go with almond thats such a nice looking color thats hardly ever used

UsDm_Junky- thanks, yeah didn't wana go white like a lot of people do with their hondas.

 

head gasket blew on my way home one day when it was about 100 degrees. forgot to put coolant/water in my radiator since i noticed it was losing fluid quickly. got me a head gasket kit and replaced everything myself for once. headgasket blew cause my radiator went dry somehow dunno how. got the head resurfaced an all new valves and valve stems.. got me a new aluminum radiator and some stainless steel 2pc. headers..

 

didnt u have the red drag dr41s? i think i seen u at cruise to cruz i was driving the black nsx

 

painted the VC again. threw on the headers.. traded my ls mesh for some new wheels plus a little cash.. makes the car look a lot better. car's slow as **** so i can't really see a difference with the headers lol.. but it's a cruiser so i don't really care.. they look nice...

 

sold the CF hood put the stock hood back on.

bought me a MOMO START bucket seat for $30 the other day at a garage sale, traded it for this OEM hood bra and bumper bra.. i like how they look together
painted the fog covers flat black and the front lip flat black as well, blends in with the bras and looks a whole lot better IMO...

also picked up some clear corners and amber bulbs..

and starting some more body/prep work to get it painted asap before it starts raining....

looking around for a new front camber kit so i can go lower soon.

that's all i got for now, that's how it sits today.. will put more info. as i think of it or as new parts some in or go..

ordered 14 LED bulbs for my cluster/climate control n' whatever else on the dash.. ordered the wrong ones lol.. managed to get the cluster ones to work. ima get amber ones next time and imma order the right ones.. took off the dorky fake painted fog lights on the headlights
