Default 91 EF Sedan Build Thread

PAGE 1- First baught the car, painted hubs, brake pads.

PAGE 2 - Cold air intake, new header arrived, new stock cluster.

PAGE 3 - New hood

Hi guys. I got my old thread deleted, it was wack. I would like to post more pictures less questions in this thread.
Live in Toronto> Canada.
Came with. Baught for 2000$ febuary. 2008
1990 1.6 SOHC ZC engine
2.5” exhaust from cat-back
18” resonator
Magnaflow muffler
H&R Sport springs
20% tint
Alpine, Ample speakers
Wired for subs but no 12v fuse box
New gas tank
Billet Aluminum short shifter
Energy Suspension polyurethane shifter bushings.
Sony deck
14'' Acura hubs
sunpro tach
and a few other things / (a basketball. lol)
Heres a pic of when i first got it

Heres the engine

AS you can see i put a new valve cover on. Included from the previous owner.

Heres the interior. Its winter time so its pretty dirty inside. it came minty clean though.

( put in new pedals shortly after)

Heres the tach

(also included)

So one of the first things i did, was change the brake pads. I could change the rotor's, but not much point. I cleaned them and they work fine.

Painted the hubs white
I'm going to buy Rims soon anyway

I also put in a new Oil filter along with an oil change

For the future. Im planning on buying a new Exhaust manifold (1), Rims (2), Cat converter (3), Sway bar (4), si lower control arms in rear (5) Cold air intake (6) Bucket Seats (7)
anybody got these things for sale? * note. NO credit card.

Keep in mind I'm 16, this car stays in my garage until May 3rd 2008. Thats when i can drive it alone.
The more feedback the better, if you guys think I'm doing something wrong feel free to tell me
If you ever have recomendations for a new project please tell me.
Enjoy the pics
More to come

**update . Completly gutted the car interior, took out cluster, counsal, part of the dash. baught 2 pillar guages WILL INSTALL SOON. having problems doing the wiring.

ok, so here's my car as of March 2nd. 2008
I took of the front and headlights. as well as the air filter box.

heres the front end of my car. That hole right there, does air come out of that into the air filter??

Here is the gauge pod with 2 gauges. The oil PSI one doesnt have the glass cover on it as you can see, i have to glue it on.

Here is the wiring for the gauges. A bit confusing for me.. hopefully i will figure it out

one of the few parts of the car with alot of rust.

air fuel gauge is pointless unless you go to a 4 wire o2 sensor.. if you hook that up with the one wire your just gonna read lean or rich with no inbetween so its just gonna be a pretty light show.

oil pressure gauge you need to tap into the sending unit on the back of the block but search and dont just use a t fitting cuz it will break easy from the engine vibration. if you spend time searching this stuff you'll knwo what i mean .

if your gonna put a ram air intake on the car you can just pull the box out since you got the bumper off anyways.. so um whydid you tak ethe head lights and bumper off anyways?

also why did you gut the interior? i hope you dont mess it up cuz its mint and i want it. i'll trade you for my blue interior

im keeping the glove box and everything i gutted inside. i just did it for more room to work in inside, aswell as cleaning. i will be keeping it nice n crisp. but the seats i will sell them cheap if someone helps me put in the new ones ( the brackets) . I'm buying bucket seats.

i took off the bumper and headlights because im buying new headlights for a good price, but probably keeping the old ones im going to bake then paint them. i also wanted to get a good look at the rust on the front cause there is some rust and i wanted to see if i could fix it.

about the gauges. I'm not gonna lie i mostly got them for looks. But i do want them working and hooked up. thats just me.. same with the pedals.
I have alot of time to work on this b@*$& cause its going to be here until May, just sitting in my garage. thats why i dont care that I'm taking the car apart, i'm also trying to learn things hands on, because i don't learn as well reading, hence i dont go to school anymore I work. (16 yrs)
I myself am excited to see this car in about 3 months.
got a pic of your interior??
email it to me

Yah don't put the "T" fitting right on the block. Thread the oil line itself into the block where the oil pressure sensor goes, and on the other end of the line, thread in your oil pressure sending unit and the stock oil pressure sensor. Mak sure to use teflon tape also( the really thin white tape, just in case you don't know what that is) watchin you build yours kinda makes me miss my ef sedan

Here's a pic of her before I traded her off
