Re: - 88 CRX Si - Build
I finally brought the car up to modern standards with some Spal power locks this weekend
[CLICK]
I also began to prep the rusted rear 1/4 sections for some body work to hold me over until i can get the car cut welded and fully painted with the JDM front end.
And the rear wiper just had to go too
Another shot just for fun

Re: - 88 CRX Si - Build
Well i filled in the rusted areas with multiple products in multiple layers, being my first real attempt at body work im happy with the results.
I have finally begun assembling the interior after finishing the alarm, power locks and stereo/speaker install,
The rear trailing arms are getting the Hard Race bushings installed and new Hub/wheel bearings

Re: - 88 CRX Si - Build
Well a long overdue update is here,
Over the last couple weekends I've installed:
Skunk2 Pro-C Coilovers
Skunk2 Front & Rear Camber Kit
Skunk2 LCA
New Steering Rack
New Inner & Outer Tie Rods
New Wheel Bearings F & R
New Front Calipers
Rear Disc Brake conversion W/ Hardrace RTA Bushings
Stop-Tech Pads
Brembo Rotors
New Brake Booster
New Brake Master Cylinder
SS Braided Brake Lines
I also managed to finish the paint work and turn the car into a great 10 footer
The car still needs an alignment and some ride height adjustment, and after that ill have a lot more pics of the car.
On to the pics...
Right before the transformation started
Yea this is how i do all my work.... no fancy shop or fancy tools, just a lot of creativity and problem solving.
So many Parts!
Wheel Bearing removal
Inner Race Removal
Good as NEW
New Booster and MC
Front and rear suspension removal
New Setup
The whole interior also has been re-installed and the is paint on, which came out better than expected for spray cans
More pics to come after i paint all the trim with a fresh coat of black and do a little more touch up!

Re: - 88 CRX Si - Build
Thanks guys
From what ive seen, This spec wheel has been no longer in production in japan for quite some time, as well as unavailable used in this or other 15 inch specs.
And just for the sake of being different and not just painting them metallic silver i figured id put in the work for a unique set of polished wheels.
