Default 151's here i come... woot

not exactly a honda, but its my current DD so i thought i would post pics of the new and improved Temp Setup...

setup includes:
18" Audioque HDC3 W/ aluminum D1 coils (recone will arrive on monday)
Double baffled (1.5" thick on 4 sides) 6.3 Ft^3 box with 117 In^2 of port area Tuned to 37hz Designed/Built By me
Audiopipe AP-30001D (3krms @ 2 ohms, CEA rated... benched @ 3200 watts rms By me on 14.4v)
Audiopipe AP-3004 (iirc does ~130 watts RMS x 4 @ 4 ohms, CEA rated)
XS power D3100 Prototype Battery
Powermaster 200a Alt (130 at idle)
Tsunami 1/0 Ga. throughout
Phoenix Gold RSD 6.5"s in the front Doors
JVC AVX820 in the dash

given that the same setup minus the current box touched 150's on music with the single layered box (getting blown apart) and a Jacked up amp im hoping i can squeeze a 151 out of this

on to the pics, ill get some pics with the sub installed when the recone gets here monday

you can also see the internal window brace in this pic...

ill take a few more pics and post them later if anyone wants....

you may wanna replace that square bracing inside the box with a round dowel, and props for 150's tuned that low, i always tune my setups close to 60's

Nice. I ran a pair of AudioQue hd315's back in 07. Best subwoofers I have ever owned. Took a beating and they never gave up. Highest score I got was 149.7db in my 99 Yukon. Hoping to get back into sounds when my db is up and running.

2"x2"s work just fine for me, ive used them on numerous setups and never had an issue...

as for the tuning, i cant stand anything much higher if im gonna be playing music on it... the freq it does that number at is in the mid 40 hz region IIRC...
