Could anyone give me advice on a sub/box setup that's worth my while? i am currently in the middle of choosing a sub/box and amp setup between the kicker L7, alpine type-r, and the mtx 8000 series subs. Anyone got any setups that you could give me some advice on? size 10, 12, or 15? box ported or sealed? i just got my **** jacked and wanted to replace my older version L7. i heard the new L7 is a little improved.

 

I like the polk MoMo or jl w7, custom box, IMO but if you like your old L7 then go for a new one man, Phoneix gold amps, JL or xtant depending on your expense

i'm probably gonna try out the new L7. with a kicker 600.1 mono amp. and see how that goes. most likely sealed. but i've heard a vented/ported L7.
