05 RL build .PCD,Jpip,Exhaust,Intake,Drop Comptech Supercharger

Thought i would start a build thread for the car.

Picked up a 05 in summer of 2014. One owner doctor from toronto, never winter driven. Got it for a good price as the whole car was repainted in 2007 from dings in the door. Paint work was very well done with some areas i can live with.

So far

19" Diamond Cut wheels
10mm wheel spacers
10mm Extended wheel studs

Parts to go on

RV6 PCD
IMR J Pipe
IMR High Flow cat
IMR Intake box
P2R Intake Manifold thermo gasket
XLR8 Stock dia crank pulley
H&R Springs
09 Front and Rear sway bars

This is my summer daily driver so this should wake the car up.

Well quick update finaly got a chance to work on my car after all these PCD and Jpipe installs.

Wanted to see what she would look like low as i could get the hoist.

Sorry for the delay guys.

Motor is out of the car now and timming belt,water pump,valve lash and rebuilt the PS pump. Ported out the exhaust ports a bit also and installed the PCD's.

Decided to make my own J pipe

Well car is all done now

Never really followed an RL build before. Crazy that you pull the engine to do maintenance on it!!

The hoist is from Greg smith equipment .

I've had it for 4 years now and love it . My new place will have two of these scissor lifts and one two post when I build the garage.

When I bought my 99 acura 1.6EL they just brought out the 05 RL and it happened to be same color haha but I could not afford 65k .

Thanks , its built exactly like a regular honda. In the sence that they thought out the platforum. I dont need any special tools for it and everything is like lego.

2.5hours taking my time and never removing the engine it was on the floor. Supper simple. Wiring harness was in the perfect locations, honestly working on it i was not stressed one bit and ive worked on alot of cars lol.

Thanks . Im going to be doing a dual 2.25" exhaust but will step down the exhaust to the stock mufflers and see how it sounds.

Bit of a update guys. I purchased a used comptech blower for the car, aem meth injection with 2 nozzels and a battery box for the trunk. I also sent out the stock comptech pulley to get a smaller one made so I can run 5-6psi on this motor.
