Underground racing cams
Has anybody tried this company's camshafts, the prices seem reasonble. They offer all kinds of replica cams for the same price of 480.
EDIT: heres their website, http://www.undergroundracingus...=SFNT

Re: Underground racing cams (broketuner-egb16a)
here is a PM conversation about some info on their stuff.
(3:47 PM 1/30/2006) broketuner-egb16a: I am looking to buy a set of cams/cam gears in the near future. I have a b16a with I/H/E and a lightweight flywheel and clutch. I was wondering what are your most popular cams for all motor apps. My comp. ratio will be around 10.7(till I build up the motor). I also noticed that you had two different designs as far as the gears, a 4 bolt and 6 bolt, is one more accurate than the other?
(3:54 PM 1/30/2006) ugrusa: i would recomend the s2-1 they are my top seller for all motor and the i would rec the 6 bolt gears
(4:06 PM 1/30/2006) broketuner-egb16a: Couple of more questions, Do the cams have stock(or near stock+- 100 rpms) idle? I've just heard stories (not about your company but others that offer similar products) about idle being up around 2000 rpm with things like cams.
Also do you allow pick ups? I saw that your shop is in 626 which isn't too far from me.
(4:13 PM 1/30/2006) ugrusa: they are near stock i was in san fran this weekend to pro mote ugr and i sold about 25 sets of cams and gears do to these specs so they are good and will give rpm you need. just let me know what you want. 626.688.2294
(4:19 PM 1/30/2006) broketuner-egb16a: bitchin, I'll let you know.
(4:26 PM 1/30/2006) ugrusa: well i'll tell you one thing about UGR. i get my cams from the same place as blx.omni.bdyclb.SK2.tda.and jun. my prices are better and the performance is the same and the quality
also. my warranty is the best too because all it consist of is that your satisfied if your not i can send you you cash back or send you another set whatever makes you happy mann!
(4:29 PM 1/30/2006) broketuner-egb16a: Well that is certainly one hell of a warranty, mind if I post this in my thread asking about your products for others to see about your great customer service.
(4:35 PM 1/30/2006) ugrusa:what you can post is my warranty and were i get my product. that would be cool!
