Default type s cams

someone said if my head is in fine condition can i install my type-s pistons with out upgrading. if i need to upgrade can i just upgrade the retainers and springs.
also how can you tell you have a genuine type-s cams.

take a caliper and measure one of the lubes then post on here that measurment you have and im sure someone around here knows what the lube measurement of type s cams are.
