i never updated this thread, but the head went back on to the customers mild GSR build and it made 185whp, with about 45min of tuning. i shuold get the car back in here soon to see if we can hit 200whp.

yes it waas a fully ported head with valves, springs and retainers.
DonF was able to save his $1500 investment for $350
