Stock Block USDM GSR DC2 Into The 12s!
Went to MIR's Opening Test &Tune today with my Stock Block all motor Gsr integra. Made 3 passes and got into the 12s.. Anyways its been a long time comeing and i just want to thank ALLM0T0R for all his time and his products, Dave from PsiProformance, herbert for help tuning and xtrafastcivic on here for all Pms on suspension/slicks setups lol..
Anyways heres the setup.
Chassis: 2000 Dc2 integra Gsr 2380Lbs W/Driver. 10k front, 14k rear coilovers, M&H 22/8/13 inch slicks on V2 wheels to clear gsr brakes.
Transmission: Spec stage 4 unsprung clutch, Mfactory 4.9 FD. No LSD. No Traction Bar.
Engine: stock block Usdm Gsr (150k). B16 head decked (around 10.5-10.6:1 comp), 2 layer HeadGasket, Stock port, No Valvejob w/ DDTech Stage 1 Cams, ported itr intake manifold, 65mm TB, 3in Itr Cai with velocity stack, Blox small tube tri-y header, Everything portmatched, JG valves and Valve springs/retainers, 310cc injectors, OEM Gsr fuel pump Tuned on CROME. This setup made 205whp and 134 wtq on Inlinepro's Dynojet.
Anyways it was a personal goal of mine to go 12s on a stock gsr block in a DC2.. No scanner so ill be posting the actual timeslips later but here is a breakdown of the runs:
1st run:
60'... 1.776
330... 5.342
1/8... 8.300 @ 83.51 mph
1000... 10.865
1/4... 13.037 @ 103.77 mph
2nd run:
60'... 1.755
330... 5.350
1/8... 8.305 @ 83.57 mph
1000... 10.862
1/4... 13.026 @ 104.20 mph
3rd run:
60'... 1.730
330... 5.277
1/8... 8.210 @ 84.14 mph
1000... 10.753
1/4... 12.903 @ 104.78 mph
Thanks again to those ppl!

Absolutely Amazing! Great results for a well deserving person. I can not tell you how many times i tell people about your setup and how great it is. You are "THE" Corner stone for a stage 1 cam profile guy.
Andrew from the bottom of my heart, and for all of us at DDTECH, we say thank you and keep up the great work!

What kind of porting do you have done to your intake mani? I'm looking at getting an ITR IM OR if I'm feeling rich going with a PerformerX. Can't decide if it's worth the $$ difference.

Damn, those 60' times are where it's at!
Could I ask your launch technique? Do you have 2-step or is it all done by you?
Great times BTW!

Thanks Man! I went all last season thinking i was going to break into the 12's and it never happend, had to take down the weight and make suspension/gearing/tire changes.. You are right about my injectors tho, im still on the old style RC 310's.. Im thinking about looking into the Bosch/ID injectors

Re: Stock Block USDM GSR DC2 Into The 12s!
Thanks, I was happy myself to see the 60 ft's so low into the 1.7s w/o an lsd too. First off the rear 14k coils really make a huge difference in launching, and i was on brand new M&H slicks that seem to actually be wider than what they're branded. I do have a 2 step that we set at 7000. Also the 4.9 final really seems to spit you out of the hole compared to the stock gsr 4.4 final. As far as technique, I keep the clutch down on the floor until i have the second stage light lit up, then as the Tree lights drop i slowly bring up the clutch to where it almost gets the car to move/or engaged, by the last yellow light the clutch is pretty well let out and im ready to go.. So i actually dont like to use the E-Brake to preload like some other ppl might.. It really just depends on your feel for the car i guess. Also the spec 6 puck clutch feels just like a stage 1 to me in terms of how progressive and easy to work it is.

Oh man the car looks official now lol, i will try to post some pics i have. I took off the weight from everywhere i could reach unbolt etc.. I still havent cut any metal, or have any carbon or lexan on it.. i did a few things to the body of the car to improve the aero aswell..

I hate that my s100 is set at 4500 for launch control and offers no ability to be changed. I just had it switched off, but haven't been to the track to test my capabilities w/o it yet. I have the same strategy of "edging" the clutch to preload the drivetrain. We'll see in about a month or so what I can do when the nearby tracks open around here. I am hoping to hit high 12's as well, (but not with a stock block like you) from my best of 13.3s at 106 with horribly consistent 2.2 60 foots. Close to the same slicks: 22x8x15 on Lensos, just less sidewall.

Awesome job dude!
I'm planning on shooting for looow 14s, high 13s on a GSR all motor, in a db8, so I'll probably be shooting for the same power as you, since I'll be 500-600Ibs heavier haha.
