Default Slight chip on cam lobe still okay?

I just bought a set of cams from a guy on HT. Upon visual check up I noticed that one of the cams had a slight chip on one of the lobes. Now the guy selling it stated that these are brand new unused. I have attached a few pics of the chip. Is it ok to just go ahead and run it like that? Will I run into any wear problems?

Honest opinion , i'd make sure its smooth and let it go, i dont see why that would cause any problems, make sure it is smooth tho.

X2^^ If its not smooth, it would destroy the rocker.

If the cam is a Name Brand Aftermarket part.

The cams are made by a very reputable company. Reason I can't return them is because they weren't bought from an authorized dealer. It was bought from an owner who acquired them through a trade.

The only thing i would be a little leery about with grinding it smooth.
You dont want the integrity of the lobe to be compromized in any way.

Well talking with the guy I bought them from he says that he acquired them through a trade. He said that he did check them a not notice anything. When I received the cams the box was not damaged and if it was damaged during shipping I'm pretty sure that little piece will still be in there cause the cam was wrapped in plastic. The seller is trying to work something out with me at the moment and I have contacted Skunk2 so we'll see where it goes.
