Do you have any experiance with RM Cams?

Alot of smart people think that lift over 12 mm isnt all that hott. Even when Brad/Rlz had cams out they didnt have much lift but had tons of duration.
Hmm, that's interesting.

No i do not have first hand experience with RM cams.

Here is some more specs pasted from this site: http://www.purehonda.com/forum/index...opic=21.0;wap2

Does not say anything about how the duration is measured.

Rm-performance:
Rocket Motorsports M21
IntakeLift 11.7mm / Duration 236
ExhaustLift 11.6mm / Duration 226

Rocket Motorsports M22
Intake Lift 12mm / Duration 236
Exhaust Lift 12mm / Duration 226

Rocket Motorsports M24
Intake Lift 12.9mm / Duration 262
Exhaust Lift 12mm / Duration 270
And here is one that more or less backs up what rocket told you.
Found it here: http://www.civicforums.com/forums/3-...-cool-toy.html

Duration is said to be measured at 1mm lift.

Rocket Motorsports
M22
Intake lift 12.1mm, duration 244
Exhaust lift 12.1mm, duration 244
M23
Intake lift 12.1mm, duration 252
Exhaust lift 12.1mm, duration 252
M24
Intake lift 12.1mm, duration 258
Exhaust lift 12.1mm, duration 258
M24E
Intake lift 12.7mm, duration 263
Exhaust lift 12.7mm, duration 263
M24X
Intake lift 12.7mm, duration 258
Exhaust lift 12.1mm, duration 265
M25
Intake lift 12.1mm, duration 270
Exhaust lift 12.1mm, duration 270
M25E
Intake lift 13.25mm, duration 276
Exhaust lift 13.25mm, duration 276

While I'll say this and be done with this thread. First, Lets hope the information you posted come from the latest batch of RM cams available to market and not from earlier models. I bet you can't answer that but hey.

Second next time I am on the phone with Robert I'll let him know that the specs I have on my cam cards are wrong. ACTUALLY NO I WON'T
I GUESS I BETTER GO AND CHECK MY CUSTOM CAMS IN MY MOTOR. NOT

This mean 100 intake, 109 exhaust. A client gave me this M25 cams that he bought used but has no spec card. The Valve lash is 7 and 8?

Each setup will vary as you know, the centers I posted are the best starting point, straight from Rocket.

m25 warrents a well put together motor with the correct combo of parts and tuning.. not alot of people could afford to put together a motor that can properly take advantage of the profile itself.

Yes but they are not available yet as they are currently in the R&D/testing phase.

Kool, i wonder who will be doing the grinding..

I spoke to JB about making K series cams, because I had profiles i wanted to do and he said he didn't have the machine nor could he get the cores at affordable pricing to do K series cams.

that is good news

the M25 is a good/aggressive profile. It may or may not seem like that to some if you judge it by its lift/duration on paper, but it needs a big motor to run it. bigger than a 2L if u ask me. I thought my 2L had enough "*****" to run it, but it was a good example of overcamming. I made more with a smaller cam.

the M24 on the other hand is ONE of the best 2L cam u can get
