i put down 177whp on stock b16 head with gsr cams and p30 pistons with blown rings. see my thread.

Definetly not a "poor man" r setup but here ya go
b18c1 block
polished balanced gsr crank
polished shot peened gsr rods with arp bolts
modified pct pistons all pistons balanced within +/- 1 gram of each other
modified oil pump
act lightweight flywheel
act 6puck clutch hd pressure plate
complete rotating assembly balanced
b16 head full port and polish by chad barber@ctr dynosports
custom made bronze valve guides by kms engines
custom made springs and retainers by kms engines
supertech flat face nitrate coated valves
skunk2 stage2 cams
ported polished victor-x intake manifold by chad barber@ctr dynosports
70mm str throttle body
arp main studs and head studs
s4c tranny (2000 civic si)
msd sci-l ignition with msd hvc coil
ngk power cables and spoon spark plugs
rage performance big tube tri-y header
to many other mods to list....you get the idea
custom modded p30 ecu tuned by me running crome gold.
new 3" kteller exhaust to go on tommorow and retuned.

Yes it is, and thank you shodan. its a very healthy motor that has gone through a few stages. the 3" exhaust upgrade will hopefully let me pull some more out of the high flowing head.

-B18C1 bottom block
-B18C1 Crank
-B16?? cylinder head (stock)
-Jdm ITR Piston (standard oem size)
-Stock Gsr injector
-Gsr timing belt

You're timing is off, otherwise your not keeping the compression in the combustion chamber. Valves, rings, head gasket. Good Luck!
