i have a 2004 honda odyssey engine j35a4. im asking what performance alternative headers and downpipe can i use for this van since no one considers on making a mini van performance fun and its hard to get a straight answer on google . The 03-04 honda pilot has the same motor and obx sells headers and dp for it. im wondering would it be possible to use them? im doing a custom catback exhaust from scratch so if the length wouldnt matter as long as the dp will work going over the subframe.

Give it a shot. The only thing you worry about is fitment in the engine bay

from parts store pictures it looks like the exit flange of the "downpipe" or J-pipe is straight on the Pilot/MDX and angled 10-15° towards the passenger side on the odyssey. expect to add a bend to the system around that area. should be pretty simple. upstream or downstream of that flange is up to you (or the design if things are too tight...)
