Default p73pistons [jdm-itr] on ls/vtec

i have officially ordered the p73 pistons...the jdm itr pistons. i am putting them into my ls/vtec..b18a1/b16 head.

my question is will these pistons fit without machining the rods? and if i have to machine the rods...will this weaken them at all? im trying to make this the cheapest setup while retaining reliability.

You have to get your rods machined down 1mm on each side to fit the pistons on.

Use ARP Rod Bolts as well for extra strength on those rods, b/c they aren't meant to rev past 7600rpm!
