My totally full stock 200HP B16
only genuine parts, head work and milled, mileage unknown, already four years of hard racing and only simple and regular oil change: thank you Soichiro!
many victories of group or simply always good results:

NOW THAT'S ***** F*CKIN' RACING!!!! GOD DAMN IT'S ABOUT TIME PEOPLE DO IT RIGHT IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I Must know. What Final Drive are you using in this system? 4.929? 4.785? It doesn't seem stock for its acceleration rate, but the video could be deceiving me.

Pretty good for a B16. I made 197 with just a race header and exhaust and some tuning with a Jdm H22a. Keep up the good work!!!!

Rally Civic For The Win!
Got a B16 myself but running it stock for now with a close ratio kit.
I take it you're in a 1600cc class? I know a lot of the Irish guys are in the same boat for their classes.

Re: My totally full stock 200HP B16
thanx
yes, 1600cc class but sometimes front of upper class
I didn't remember the ratio, I have just build the engine. max speed: around 200km/h (125mph)
I have a jdm H22a on my civic with type R cam (honda accord type R), I love this engine. but a good little B16 is pretty.

Is that a chassis dyno or engine dyno? Could you be more specific about the parts used in this B16A and the work performed? What is the CR? Which intake manifold and header setup? Photos of it would be good.

"Totally full stock" first thing I see is aftermarket valves...
200whp and less that 100tq??
Something isn't adding up.

That looks like some fun racing, no doubt, glad to see you enjoy that car so much!!
The B16 works ok for that kind of setup. Being i have tried so many different setups over the years, i still give more credit to a B20Z swap. The last one it did was about 10hp shy of the b16, but made an extra 35 ft lbs of torque, to the wheels! In that kind of racing, the bigger engine out performs the smaller 1.6L

This is really cool.
Were did the video go? I'm not seeing it...
Cool story about the B20 but displacement is limited to 1600cc for this car.
The B16 is an excellen 1.6L engine. Certainly one of the best

Re: My totally full stock 200HP B16
I will give all my black art of the cylinder head portage soon
I work in the development of a rally B16 now
this winter, I will try to make an impossible 250HP B16 (not more displacement because the regulation of the rallye: F2000/13: 1600cc max)
custom head welded and machined
drew with soustract the YCP piston
and custom camshaft profile
I'm testing all my parts by Finite Element Analysis (FEA). I worked already more than 200 hours on this future engine.
I think to open a specific thread in "all motor" when I will make some parts in real.
the aftermarket parts available meet the two needs: performance AND business. me, I want to make only parts of the performance.
I hope have to "the hands and the brain" to link the world of engineer and the DIY
a good following of my garden-monster-frankeinstein-garage with the AWSD civic!
