Yeah these looks different from mine but probably just a different design of the dome. 8.25cc is not measure of how high the dome is. Yeah the picture here says 6594m84, mine said 6594m845. Same compression different dome design. Maybe the 84mm and 85mm are different from the 84.5mm ones??

Hahahah yeah thanks bro, just found out they remodeled the pistons that's why it looks different from yours, the valve pockets got changed but the pistons still has the same volume so it should have the same similar compression ratio, how was your built?

Re: My B20vtec 13:5 CR Build
yea that thing is going to be crazy fast. I'm pretty sure your goad of 230+ hp will be reached. the only problem is with that high of cr i dont know how it will be for daily driving. either way its really cool and I hope you have fun with it.

Thanks man, yeah I need a bigger exhaust as well, do u recommend a 3 inch cat back? The cams are good, I agree with a better headers but it's not an all out race car always at the track or a daily driver so it's all good...

Thanks man, yeah I hope so I called DSR and will probably go dynoed it there forsure after break in. It's not my daily driver, just an occasional weekend car or when I'm bore driving automatics I'll drive it around for fun. But I add Torco on every fill ups and it works great. I was testing out a few full throttle runs to 8000 rpm yesterday it felt great rpm flew by fast, but sucks an axle broke today but replaced it. Probably need stage 1 axles.

Re: My B20vtec 13:5 CR Build
Hi there, I just built my b20v and it's going to be drop in tommorow in my 1995 Acura Integra LS chasiss, i estimated the CR due to all the head surface and block decking and the .03 headgasker size, here's a list of the mods, just wanted to know from tuners and people who previously had a similar build to see what whp/trq I might be expecting from the dyno. Thanks.
Block mods:
B20b block stock sleeves (Rehoned and Bore) w/: 84.5mm Wiseco 13:2:1 8.25cc Pistons, Eagle H-Beam Rods w/ ARP rod bolts, ACL Race Bearings (STD size), OEM 1996-2001 GSR Oil pump, NPR Water pump, Greddy Racing Timing Belt.
Head mods:
B16a2 99-00 Civic SI (resurfaced for the 2nd time) mild porting w/: OEM Stock Valves (lapped and cleaned), Stock retainers, BLOX dual valvesprings, Skunk2 Pro 2 Cams (degreed in @ +5 exh 0 int), Skunk2 Pro Series Cam gears, Victor X manifold (portmatched), Skunk2 Alpha 70mm Throttle Body, ARP Head Studs, Cosmetic 84.5mm B20v Headgasket, RC 750cc Honda Top Injectors, B&M Fuel Pressure Regulator, Walboro 255 Fuel pump, RMF Narrow Headers w/ 2.5 inch custom straight pipe exhaust. 3 inch CT Engineering Intake.
GSR Hydro Tranny w/: ACT 6 puck sprung clutch, Stock flywheel, Exedy Stage 1 pressure plate.
BTW: I'm adding ounces of Torco Race Fuel Accelerator to 91 octane for daily driving which should boost me up to 95 octane or higher. This is my first b20v build so always gotta do it right the first time.

Closest E85 pump is 1 and a half hours away, I'm from Chico area, they sell E85 here for 5 bucks a gallon so it's better to run 91octane + Torco Accelerator = 95+ octane depending on how much I add.

Not that I care, because it's your motor and not mine. But I find it incredibly ignorant that you're willing to skimp out on a whoppin 1 or 2 hundred dollars to use the correct valvetrain. That makes absolutely zero sense.
Have a good time hoping your motor survives each time you rev it.

Re: My B20vtec 13:5 CR Build
Went to DSR San Jose today, honestly I'm pretty disappointed in the tune (that's if u want to call it a tune) my basemap that my buddy street datalog tuned made 205 whp and 139 torque pushing to 8700 rpm he didn't fine tune it yet, Lawrence was able to make 214 whp and 140 something torque revving to 9200rpm, the dyno machine couldn't sample out my torque and it was because of my spark plugs?, I paid 410 for 2 hours of dyno which was not worth it and only gave me a 5 whp gain? I don't think my timing was even touched to see if it can juice out more hp or so and he couldn't tune my idle so I will have to copy and paste my old basemap idle that my buddy did to make the car idle. He had to chip back and forth and didn't have Chrome pro to datalog when they charge 205 per hour to tune for chrome when they can't datalog to check timing and what not. Not trying to say anything bad for anyone but man I was definitely rip off, do u pay 400 bucks to gain 5 whp and ur car won't even idle like ur basemap did? Lawrence tells me that their dyno reads lower than dnr so let's hope that's the case I was expecting at least 220+whp all sae correcting.
