Default Machine shop prices

my machine shop is charge n $150 to press out my LS pistons, put in my *bling bling* P30 pistons, press out my LS rod bolts and press in a set of ARP rod bolts and then recondition the rods. is the price fair? also i will be get n these back the same day!

costed me 80 bux to get new vavle seals in, beadblasted head, polished crank, and p30's put on ls rods and ls pistons taken off rods.

do it myself???? i aint gonna do that machine work myself. i'll leave that to the experts. this guy that does the machine work heats up the rods to put the new wrist pins into the pistons and rods. i wouldnt press in the wrist pins cuz u might damage the piston.

$80 is a good price. maybe the price is jacked up cuz it's in NY. i hope the guys i shot peen n my rods for this price

i forgot to ask the dude .. i suck ***!
i know he's probably gonna hone them to make them circle cuz when u press n the arp rod bolts the rods get ovaled. i hope he shot peens the rods too. i'll find out

yep...but still isn't that much money if they do good work.

I pay about $85 for what your getting done.

the price seems a little high for what is being done. i charge $100 for what you are getting done and the rods are shot peened and honed to make sure the bore is within spec.

they reshape em or something.. anyhow i payed like 120 bucks for what your getting
