Re: ls vtec (TECH43 RACING INC.)
Has anyone else experienced pressure drop with using too big of a line? Ive tested -3, -4, -6, and -8 and so far -4 has shown the best result......I had gotten a slight pressure drop with -6, and -8 was way over kill........just wondering if anyone else had the same results.......

Really, I'll have to look into that. I havent seen that happen yet......thanks for the input

Re: ls vtec (RedZone)
You could get a Golden Eagle adapter for the block.
It just goes on the oil filter flange, then the oil filter goes on the adapter. It has an extra port for an oil pressure gauge, too.

Well, here she is. This our VTEC Conversion Kit. A very easy and sanitary way to add a VTEC head to a non VTEC block. Uses filtered oil for supply. Also has AN fitting for the head ( the correct metric thread ) so there is no stripping threads. All you need is to get a line made whatever length you need! It also has a port that can be used or a filtered turbo oil supply or pressure gauge sensor. Accepts the stock filter. Installs in less than 10 minutes. No drilling or cutting required. This is a very simple install and is a must for LS/VTEC or CR-VTEC engines or for anyone with a turbo!!!
Guess that clears that up...........

that doesnt look safe..the oil line T'ed off the block cant be good for flow and the little extra pressure that the bent SS line is putting on the brass T (+ engine vibrations)...
I think you should switch the sensor and oil-line on the T..but thats just me and http://www.c-speedracing.com's opinion...

you arent gonna have both T's on the block are you..? ..because both of those is gonna be heavier and hang farther off the block...
maybe if the make something like a "+" then you can have a oil line go from the block to the "+" and directly on the other side of the "+" goes to the head (straight though) and both sensors go on the sides, then mount that somewhere..

Re: ls vtec (10K2HVN)
No I am not that stupid! Both T's will be inline wiht the hose and go to longer lines going to the spresure senders wich will be attached to something. There will be plenty of slack so nothing will vibrate off. Block ------+-------+----- Head just like That.
