.028 The savings without the slips would be marginal. The springs are lighter then tabs and bolts if i remember correctly, but deifntley not as light as no slip fit and a weld. However we wanted a little bit of compliance.

Its made from Inconel, most likely Inconel 625, which is about three times the cost of SS 321. That price is reasonable for the material.

No we have not dyno'd it and we probably will not for quite some time.

However I should be going to the engine dyno by the end of the year to do my header r & D project

Hey EKasey...I just remembered....

Is this a similar header that was built for IPS's NA K20 build that was featured in the December 2005 SCC?

eh hard to say i don;t remember too much of that article read it at a news stand.

This header was primarily built for a limited preparation k20 (internally stock)

It should work well with mild mode like IPS K2 cams and other pieces. The one produced for the IPS build was made to accentuate the upper area of the power curve. This header is made to provide power in the most useable rpm range under road race conditions.

I see...probably different design, being that the one in SCC was pushing a 12.8:1 CR with zero deck ...I just remember it said it was fab'd by Burns Stainless
