I would basically like to know what parts are available from the aftermarket and factory that make power and reliability for street use.

DC5 R pistons/cams/IM

IB pistons/rods/valvetrain

SMSP header

Hytech Header/IM/cams

Hondata ECU flashes

Toda Cams/Header/ECU flash

Prospeed Header

Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.

I thought you were asking for K guru's, thats average Joe Bolt on knowledge

Cool thanks for the help.

I am looking into specific spring pressure rates for cams currently used on K series motors.

Anybody know what Realtime is running?

Getting a profile for the roller rockers is the key for K camshafts.

I would like to know if anybody here has studied this on the k motor and would like to share any info.

Good luck man, those who have put the leg work in to learn most likely arent going to just spill what they know. Start studying man, thats my only advice.

Talk to Jeff and Jerry, Theyve got something theyve been working on. Jerrys new motor is looking to be a beast.

From my own research it seems Hondata has good knowledge of the K-Series stuff from the development of your K re-flash and ecu's.

They are currently the only company that can rewrite the RSX ECU, they have been doing the tuning for most of the big names in the K series community. Doug and Derek are both great guys, I had a chance to meet Derek just before him and Jeff from IB flew out to Hawaii for a tuning session. I talked to Doug at a Shine street meet in Carson.

for Hondata

Wrong.

We, Eibach, developed the springs for Realtime. We manufacture them here in Corona, CA.They use the same spring we sell off the shelf here. John @ Hytech will be using them in his full race motor as well as K20EG Eric.

Let me know if you need any specs, Robert.

For motor specs I would certainly look towards John@Hytech, C_A_T and Doug@Hondata.
