Default ITR cams

Have a stock b16a2 block with one or two bolt ons, was wondering what kind of gains I would get from upgrading the cams to those from a I.T.R, also should I do the springs and retainers I.T.R also ? thanks for your help in advance

You will need valvesprings and retainers. You could get OEM ITR Valvetrain

You can put r cams in stock B16's with no problems. I've done it a couple times and the **** ran for years. Keep the stock revs and you will feel an increase in power on the butt dyno. It's a good upgrade.

Cheers people think this is on the cards so, going to do the springs and retainers aswell as the engines healthy, dont want to go and ruin it

Simply adding itr cams, even tuned, does not add 10hp the the wheels, they aren't "that" aggressive

I would just drop the cams in man, you won't have to pull the head that way. You'll be perfectly fine running oem cams on oem valvetrain.

There is a big difference between b16 cams and ITR ones. Hell even GSR cams are an upgrade to the b16 ones.

With tuning 10-15whp depending on the tuning and motor and supporting mods. You dont need to upgrade springs with ITR cams but it is a good idea and that way you can rev to 9k which is good since these cams will make power still at 9k.
