Ok so here's where I'm at.Got the ITR cams installed,now I'm going to get it retuned.BUT,before I drop 300$+ on a tune,I figured I should do as much as I possibly can as far as bolt on/power add ons. I'm thinking Maxbore the TB? Or buy a 68mm?is 68 too big for a b16 with headers,straight through exhaust,type r cams,short ram intake?

Maxbore bores stock tb to 64mm,and only portmatches the intake mani. I'm considering sending intake and TB out to somewhere and have them both fully ported.OR,should I just try finding a good aftermarket intake mani and a 65-68mm tb...ugh. Performer X,Skunk2, I know the p30 intake is pretty much boss up to 8krpm,which is where I'll be until I do more valve train work.

Need someone with more experience to chime in.

i say buy the type r intake manifold, saves you more money and gives about the same results as the skunk2 pro series. just my opinion, you do you

Used type r intake manifold and throttle body combo if you can find it would be good. Your setup should be fine with 62mm-70mm throttle bodies. OEM 4-1 type r header or toda rep header will work good.
