Do you guys loctite your tappet screws? Im gonna loctite mines after my rebuilt, the adjustment nut came off on mines and caused a valves to smack the piston, cracked my block and now im rebuilding my whole motor cause of damn nut

really 3-6 months for a valve adjustment. maybe thats my problem. i had ctrs put in last year and have had only one valve adjustment done. uh oh goin to the shop tomorrow. btw. what would the spec be with ctr cams just outta curiosity

i believe its derek??
adjusted my valves today after finally getting my car running again, set my 3+ a little tighter then they call for but it idles and runs great, i set em at .007 intake and .008 exhaust
