come on someone has to be able to help me out. my hole set up would be 96 r cams stock b16 head aebs im, short ram intake and a custom 2.25 exhaust, oh and a dc 4-1 header. i wanted to put the gsr crank in it to get a higher C/R but if i run shorter rods wouldent it be the same as a stock for C/R? so would i be able to run say over sized ctr pistons? please give me some input on this. my overall goal is low 14's high 13's mybe on slicks. i have a b16 trany that i want to put a 4.78 F/D and quaife lsd in and a ls fourth gear four the freeway. someone please help me out.

Why bother?

Making some new half-way engineered combo will only yield frustration and wasted money.

Build yourself a sweet high compression b16a with some bad *** cams and go have fun with it.

a b16 block is different because it has a shorter deck
a gsr crank can go in a ls block no problem just use the gsr pistons
and a ls crand can go in a gse/itr block no problem just use the ls rods
but a b16 block has a shorted deck and is you put a gsr crank in there you will need some custom rods
so you really cant do it
just build the b16 or get a 1.8 block
just go pick up a ls block for like 200 bucks
