Re: Edelbrock Intake manifold?over skunk 2 (FastAllmotorLsVtec)
we have a built b20/vtec street motor, it made 203whp with the skunk2 and made 215whp on the JG manifold, but it really depends on the motor and tunning. We have other motors that like the skunk2 and make more hp on the skunk2

what is the minimum hp a skunk 2 would give a stock gsr/ls/type r/d16 motor? And if you had header, intake, 2.5inch exhaust gutted cat ? sorry thats kinda alot to ask but i want a decent estimate.. i want at least 10 hp and noticeable difference more then intake that is...lol

Re: Edelbrock Intake manifold?over skunk 2 (FastAllmotorLsVtec)
The JG manifold definatly worked the best for me. I tried the skunk2, JGEDELBROCK and the JGED manifold and the JGED MANIFOLD made the most power. Remember JG developed all the edelbrock parts.

I will post up my dyno charts as soon as I scan them 268Whp @ 181 torque

your an idiot.
AEBS may look cheap but unlike BLOX and JUNK 2 they actually designed the manifold not made a sand casting of the ITR and change the mounting points (basically) - this shows on the dyno by generally 4-8 hp depending on setup ect
The Edelbrock manifolds are all started from scratch and this shows as well.
The only downfall with the edelbrock vs skunk2 is the name casting which can alert cops and spectators to notice (except for the dseries skunk2 which has a huge plaque on it)
Me personally I would go with edelbrock for fitment, a cleaner look and more power.
