pnp sk2 intake manifold
toda c cams( DEGREED TO SPECS)
tri-y replica


im have POOR whp with this cams, i have degreed them to the specifications, does any one have good results with this cams???

There are a lot of variables than can cause HP loss with those cams.

But a huge factor to get power is going to tuning. Also The valve train.

Defiantly need a better intake Manifold for better air flow. TB would help. And Fuel system.

just a few quick pointers. But you defiantly will need to get with someone who is experienced with tuning.

I see. What about fuel delivery to the car? Fuel Injectors? Fuel Pump? Regulator? Bigger Throttle Body? Maybe even Better Header (Race Header) and Intake Manifold (Elderbrock).

Those Spec C are some serious cams. Usually need heavy head work, High Compression and race header to really got the power out of them, Of course tunning as well. What program you using to tune the car?

What part of Dominican Republic are you from. I have visited Santo Domingo, Punta Cana, Santiago, Bayahibe (i not sure how to spell that one). The beaches are very nice there.

are u dominican?, im from santo domingo, yes here the beaches are very very nice, im using crome pro for now, the head is heavy worked also the intake mani, i dont want more compression because is my daily drive and her we just have 87 oct gas.

i think im having problems with the injectors, ill try changing them

Not knocking the cams but so far I have not seen any results that I would call impressive from them. I have no experience using them though.

Your numbers sound very low.
Did you play with cam gear settings on the dyno?
What kind of dyno is it?
Do you have dyno sheet?
How does the car feel before and after cam upgrade?

If you degree these cams to TODA spec's they will make very solid power in a 2lt engine with that sort of compression,I normally only use them in 1850cc or smaller engines with 13+ to 1 compression.

If they are degreed correctly Vtec will be 6800 to 7200rpm

198whp in my 1.8 and 234whp in my 2.1

no degreeing just checked v2v and tuned them

I run Toda C in my CRX-B20 85*87.2 13.5C/R, Toda header, 70mm exhaust, AEM intake stock ITR intake manifold and throttle body, UR flywheel and crank pulley, Import Builders head. It made 238whp in the most restrictive Dynapack in Greece (reads lower than the local dynojets and about the same as the only 1 available Mustag). I have test the Skunk2 pro2 as well in my engine and they made the same power (only 4-8whp more the Skunks between 3000-7000rpm). Taken in consideration the quality of Toda, I think they were and they are the best camshafts ever for B series.

Your set-up is really nice but you may get more power with Toda C by bumping the C/R to 12.5+.

very good cam, made the best power at about 100, 106 LC... 240hp on MAHA dyno

81.5x87.2, STOCK PR3 head with Rocket VT, stock valves, PCT pistons, CNC ported ITR IM, SMSP B19 header and 2.5" exhaust, ID725 injectors, AEM CAI... euro 100oct fuel.

I made 190+ on these cams, unported head, stock c5 bottom end. 93 octane.

12+ compression with Toda Pistons.
82*stock R stroker 87.x?
Intake is Surgeon JDM short runner
TB is oversized ITR at 65mm.

Hp is 200 atw.

Fuel, 97 RON, available at regular gas stations in Asia.

Could possibly be the available gas and compression. Personally seen alot of good numbers and results with Toda C...however all the motors that I have seen and used them in are 2.0 with 12+ compression.

You seem to be at the limitations of the available fuel.
You must be backing off heavily on the timing to enable that motor to safely run on 87.
If race fuel or anything higher is not available for your daily driver, I would look into a Water/Meth kit to offset that fuel problem.

Looks to me like your vtec is not engaging. You make max torque in the lower rpms, and it just gradually lowers after that. Those numbers in contrast with your setup, would also suggest that the power is on non-vtec level.

To me it looks like vtec at 6600 or so.

Add toluene to every tank and get rid of the victor x.

It will only lose power for you.

THE VTEC IS ENGANGING, I MADE SOMETHING TO CHECK THA THE CAR MAKE MORE POWER WITH NO VTEC LOBES THAN VTEC LOBES AT 7000 RPM
